Learning Express Library

Reserve a Librarian

 

The Norwalk Public Library is announcing a new program being offered. Reserve a Librarian.

This program is an hour long appointment to receive one-on-one instruction with a library staff person to help with e-books, e-mail, internet or anything that a patron might need assistance with.

To register for an appointment you can stop by one of the circulation desks, call us at 419-668-6063 or fill out an electronic form by clicking here. Once the form is filled out, you will be contacted as soon as possible and an appointment will be set.

Puzzle Exchange Program

Love to do jigsaw puzzles? Have puzzles that you have done and want new ones? Then the Norwalk Public Library's new Puzzle Exchange Program might be the answer for you! Also, if you have any puzzles that need a new home please feel free to donate them for our program.

How does the program work?

  1. A person brings in a puzzle & exchanges it for another puzzle.
  2. All pieces should be included.
  3. Puzzles can be any size 150 pcs to 1000 pcs

What is hoopla?

Hoopla is a streaming service for movies, music albums, television episodes, and audiobooks. All content is simultaneous access, meaning no holds. Their most popular items are music with over 200,000 albums available. 

 

Hoopla is available via the Hoopla App on most mobile devices and on your desktop browser. 

 

Checkout limits are 10 items per patron per month. Content automatically expires after the loan period:

Videos: 3 days

Music Albums: 7 days

Audiobooks - 21 days
